Facilities
AllStar wrestling club is located on the corner of the AllStar Toyota lot on Airline highway, just down from the corner of Goodwood Blvd. and Airline Highway. The Facility has a 42 x 40 ft mat, weights, and a video room for viewing technique videos.

An All Wrestling Facility
AllStar wrestling Club was created for all wrestlers in the Baton Rouge area to have an opportunity to work out in a safe but inexpensive place.
Wrestlers in the Spring of 2013 opened the gym as a USA Facility with all wrestlers and coaches holding USA Cards.
All wrestlers who join the AllStar Club receive as part of their enrollment fee a USA Competitor card (a $50 Value).
The cost of membership is $90 per year thru August 31, 2018, with annual dates from September 1 through August 31. Participation in tournaments is offered and encouraged, but not mandatory.

National Competition
Wrestlers have the opportunity to compete in local and state wide tournaments representing AllStar Wrestling Club. Those who qualify may compete in National tournaments representing the State of Louisiana on the Louisiana National Team.
During our competitive workouts for Freestyle, Greco Roman, and Folkstyle wrestling seasons many young coaches entering the field lead workouts.
In addition, when nationally ranked wrestlers are available, free wrestling technique clinics are often offered at the club for members.

About the Coaches
Coach Phil Bode is co-founder of AllStar Wrestling Club. The year, 2017, marks the 53nd year for Coach Bode on the mat. All assistant coaches have background checks and are USA Level coaches.
Coach Bode began wrestling as an 8th grader in 1964 at Algona Junior high School. After working for two years, he landed a spot on the Algona varsity team and finished his career in 1969 as team captain, most valuable wrestler, and state runner-up for the Iowa state champion Algona Bulldogs.
Recruited to LSU by National Wrestling Hall of famer, Dale Ketelsen, Coach Bode made the Southeastern Conference Championship match 4 years in a row, winning championships at 167 lbs (1971) and 150 lbs (1972. He finished his career as captain of the LSU team in 1973 and a two time NCAA division I qualifier,. After graduation in 1973, he was promoted to graduate assistant coach for the Tigers in 1973-74.
High school programs initiated by coach Bode include Redemptorist, Brusly, St. Amant, and Episcopal. Programs developed through coach Bode's help include Baker, Zachary, East Ascension, Dutchtown, Live Oak, and Walker.
In 2000, Coach Bode co-founded the Ascension Wrestling Club which soon became one of the largest clubs in the state of Louisiana, at one time having nearly 150 members on the roster. Allstar Wrestling Club was founded in the spring of 2012.
New Coaches who conduct advanced workouts include, Paige Russell, Brandon Cosse, Ben Flickinger, Josh Galassso, and Andres Serna Others will be added.
